Selected episodes from a reality television program where aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of five rich Canadian entrepreneurial businesspeople--the eponymous "dragons"--hoping that they will offer to invest capital in return for equity. With each "dragon" having an amount of cash to invest in the idea that they think is a sound business proposition, the entrepreneurs have to decide the best offer to accept, that is if they manage to get that far.
