Gideon is tasked by his mysterious employer, Eli Glinn, with an impossible job - to steal a page from the priceless Book of Kells, on display in NYC and protected by unbreakable security. Gideon steals the parchments, only to learn that hidden beneath the gorgeously illuminated image is a treasure map dating back to the time of the ancient Greeks, showing the location of a mysterious "remedium" or substance that will change the world - and perhaps even save Gideon's life.
