Carl and Todd don't want to go on Mr. Zane's field trip to the gardens. At first, they seem to be in luck because the permission slips go missing. Then someone calls the bus company on Mr. Zane's behalf -- twice. Is the field trip canceled? Did Carl take the permission slips and make the calls, or did someone else?
