A letter, written by Adolf Hitler himself, becomes the object of a chase through two continents. This is the story of Helga Raben, a young, blond-haired, blue-eyed German Jewish woman, daughter of a famous industrialist, who falls in love with a German officer, scion of an old aristocratic family. She lives underground in Nazi Germany and when she comes into possession of the fatal document, she is a marked woman who is pursued in Germany and Switzerland, the United States, England and France.
