A region is just one part of a country or the world. Political regions are made by people. Each political region has a government. Physical regions are areas of Earth. Some regions have mountains. Some regions have a lot flat land.Developed to cover the overall expectations of the Ontario Ministry of Education Social Studies Political and Physical Regions of Canada Curriculum. Students will assess some key ways in which industrial development and the natural environment affect each other in two or more political and/or physical regions of Canada. Students will identify Canada's political and physical regions, and describe their main characteristics and some significant activities that take place in them.
